We recommend placing your quilt in a large commercial-style laundry bag to protect it from sharp edges or hot spots in the washer and dryer. Always use a front-loading, tumble-style washer on a gentle cycle with cold water. Avoid agitator-style machines. Dry on low heat until completely dry, using dryer balls to break up clumps and restore fluff. Never use high heat, and never store your quilt if any dampness remains.
